MIAMI, Feb. 13, 2018 – South Florida accounting and tax advisory firm Kabat, Schertzer, De La Torre, Taraboulos & Company (KSDT) today announced it has hired Ari Harper, CPA/ABV, CFE, as a senior forensic accountant. Harper will work out of the firm’s Weston, Fla., office to serve the valuation, litigation support, and family law and estate planning needs of individuals, business owners and legal counselors in Broward and Southern Palm Beach counties.
Prior to joining KSDT, Harper was an accounting and litigation manager with Valuation & Litigation Services, where he provided business valuation and forensic accounting services related to family law, estate planning, and other litigation matters. Before this, he was director of accounting with Online Vacation Center, a publicly traded company with five vacation-oriented businesses.
Harper holds a master’s degree in accounting from the University of Illinois Chicago and a bachelor’s degree in finance from Florida Atlantic University. A member of the of both the American Institute of CPAs and the Florida Institute of CPAs, he is a program director for the Collaborative Family Law Professionals of South Florida and a member of the board of the Faulk Center for Counseling and the South Palm Beach County Collaborative Law Group.
